To enroll in Model 10/18, girls must be at least 10 years old by September of the joining year and no older than 18, or high school senior.

We meet once a month for a theme photo shoot and once a month for an activity or beauty workshop. All meetings and shoots are optional and members aren’t penalized for not participating.

Model 10/18 is a group for girls aged 10-18.

We request that parents or an adult member of the girls be at the photo shoots and activities. It is also mandatory that parents/guardians travel with the girls on our travel outside of Monroe.

The enrollment fee for 2025-2026 is $50. Each theme shoot is $70 (optional) and individual shoots are $100 each (optional).

Girls are not mandated to participate in any activity of the group. However, we offer model, fashion, and beauty opportunities for their growth as individuals and encourage them to explore what works for them.

No. We especially discourage the younger girls from wearing makeup and encourage the older ones to wear minimal makeup as to aid in studio lighting. Less is more.

Wardrobe and clothing items for the theme shoots is the responsibility of the model. We will publish the theme of the shoot and if the model wishes to participate in it, they are responsible for assembling wardrobe and accessories for the shoot.

Model 10/18 is more than taking photos. We offer beauty, fashion, and fitness activities and workshops to enlighten girls about the possibilities of the fashion industry, a multi-billion dollar industry. Some of our girls have become makeup artists and stylists. We offer a platform to discover entrepreneurial possibilities for each girl should they take interest.

No. This is a for-profit business. However, the mentoring, workshops and training are not charged to active members. They only pay for the photo shoots.

Members can disenroll at any time. There is not a refund on the membership fee.

We only require that girls be aged 10-18 and not have any kids.

No. You do not have to live in Monroe, Louisiana to enroll in Model 10/18. However, the shoots and activities take place in Monroe, Louisiana. It is the responsibility of the member to provide transportation to/from the photo shoots and activities.

The membership fee of $50 is mandatory at enrollment. Each optional monthly theme shoot (10) is $70. All members enjoy a discounted photography rate of $100 for shoots that aren’t shot with the group as a theme (i.e. birthday, prom, homecoming dance, family portrait). The pink T-shirt is $25. The windbreaker is $160. Hair, makeup, and wardrobe are the responsibility of the member.
